Did you do something to benefit you during the quarantine?
While I was hold up in my room during the self-quarantine, I got three massages certificates that are for hand, head and shoulder.
I learned them on the video on the school's site and I went to the school to take tests for the certificates right after the emergency declaration was lifted.
Yesterday, I joined an event where I gave these massages to the customers at JPY500. My shop was flooded with customers much more than I expected. I was happy, but that caused my arms and hands pain today.
Since last year, I've had a plan of doing volunteer work in orphanages and nursing homes by giving massages. I was supposed to get the certificates for massages in March and was going to start the volunteer work in April, but it was delayed due to COVID-19, but the preperation is steadily advanced.
On the other hand, there are still infected people increasing in Japan, especially in Tokyo.
When all the worries about COVID-19 are gone, my plan will be carried out.

昨日、イベントに参加し、500円でお客様にマッサージしました。予想以上に多いお客様で店は繁盛しました。嬉しかったのですが、そのせいで今日は腕が痛いです。
児童養護施設や老人ホームでマッサージするボランティアをやろうという計画を昨年から立てています。
マッサージの認定証は3月にとるはずで、4月からはボランティアを始める予定でしたが、コロナのせいで遅れてしまいました。でも、計画は着々と進みつつあります。
一方で、日本は、特に東京はまだまだ感染者が増えつつあります。
コロナの心配がなくなれば計画を実行する予定です。

Without context, the reader at first doesn't know what that video and school is, so you need to use "a". The second time you mention the same school, you can use "the". I think this is similar to が and は regarding the introduction of new topics and talking about old ones.
