［不要！］說小羽毛，［洗澡不好玩］。
［不要洗澡，不要洗澡］說小皮瓣。

長釘大叫了［耶，洗澡唷~！］，然後跳進去池塘。
但小羽毛及小皮瓣不想跳進去。

鴨媽媽說［要用肥皂唷。］
［不要！］說了小羽毛，［肥皂不好玩。］
［不要肥皂！不要肥皂！］說了小皮瓣。

長釘說［耶~肥皂啊！］，然後拿一台肥皂。
但小羽毛及小皮瓣不想拿。

鴨媽媽說［需要擦洗唷］。
［不要］說小羽毛［擦洗不好玩！］
［不想擦洗，不想擦洗］說了小皮瓣。

長釘說［擦洗~ 耶~］，然後用海綿擦洗。
但小羽毛及小皮瓣沒擦洗。

鴨媽媽說［羽毛跟皮瓣！需要用肥皂。需要擦洗。需要…］
［玩泡泡嗎？］問長釘。

［耶~］小羽毛叫過［泡泡好玩！］
［要泡泡，要泡泡］說小皮瓣。
［玩泡泡！］說長釘。

小羽毛及小皮瓣跳進去池塘。
快來到泡泡飛到處。
大泡泡，小泡泡，泡泡都好玩。
還有洗澡時也好玩！

This is Feather.
This is Flap.
And this is their brother, Spike.
(Feather and Flap are ducklings, and Spike is a young T-Rex)

It is summer.
Time for fun.

Big fun. Small fun. Summer fun!

Feather, Flap, and Spike get dirty.
Very dirty.

"Time for a bath," said Mama.
"No," says Feather. "Baths are not fun."
"No bath. No bath," says Flap.

"BATH!" says Spike.
Spike jumps into the pond.
Feather and Flap do not.

"Time for soap," says Mama.
"No," says Feather. "Soap is not fun."
"No soap. No soap," says Flap.

"SOAP!" says Spike.
Spike takes a bar of soap.
Feather and Flap do not.

"Time for scrubbing," says Mama.
"No," says Feather, "scrubbing is not fun."
"No scrubbing. No scrubbing," says Flap.

"SCRUB!" says Spike.
Spike scrubs with a sponge.
Feather and Flap do not.

"Feather and Flap!" says Mama.
"It is time for soap. It is time to scrub. It is time for..."
"Bubbles?" asks Spike.

"Yes!" says Feather, "bubbles are fun!"
"Yes bubbles! Yes bubbles!" says Flap.
"BUBBLES!" says Spike.

Feather and Flap jump into the pond.
Soon, bubbles are everywhere.
Big bubbles. Small bubbles. Bubbles are fun.
And bathtime is fun, too!
